About Operation Theatre Technology (OT)

Operation Theatre Technology (OT) is a specialized paramedical program designed to prepare students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training required to assist surgeons and medical teams in the operation theatre. This program plays a critical role in the healthcare system by ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient surgical procedures.

OT Technicians are highly skilled paramedical professionals who work alongside surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and nursing staff to deliver seamless surgical care. They are responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after surgical procedures.

The curriculum combines in-depth theoretical learning with extensive clinical training, enabling students to master surgical procedures, instrument management, anaesthesia assistance, and infection control protocols. It also develops critical thinking, precision, teamwork, and decision-making skills, all essential for excellence in the operation theatre.

At Krishna Group of Institutions, our OT program is designed not only to impart advanced technical expertise but also to instill a deep sense of responsibility, precision, and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical care.
