About General Nursing and Midwifery
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is one of the most popular and respected diploma-level nursing programs, designed to prepare students with comprehensive knowledge, professional skills, and hands-on clinical training required to deliver quality healthcare services and compassionate patient care.
GNM encompasses various critical aspects of nursing, including patient care, medical assistance, community health, first aid, and midwifery. Students are trained to work efficiently and ethically in hospitals, clinics, healthcare centres, and emergency care units, upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and compassion.
The curriculum seamlessly combines theoretical learning with practical clinical training, enabling students to master healthcare procedures, patient management, and modern nursing practices. It also nurtures essential professional competencies such as communication, critical thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills — all vital for excellence in the nursing profession.
At Krishna Group of Institutions, our GNM program is designed not only to impart technical expertise but also to instill a deep sense of responsibility, empathy, and commitment to improving patient outcomes and community health.
