DIPLOMA IN O.T. TECHNICIAN

O. T. Technician is associated with healthcare profession and is about assisting doctors during surgery, arranging the required surgical instruments before the procedure , ensuring working condition of equipments before they are brought in use and thereon maintaining the proper upkeep of instruments by properly cleaning them once the surgery is done.

This also involves proper understanding and execution of instructions given by the surgeon during the surgery, and keeping a watch on the unheard devices.

Coming on to their area of operation, they work in operation theaters, intensive care units and emergency departments of hospitals and their primary job remains assisting doctors and surgeons during surgery or emergency procedures.

Objective

  • Working under the guidance and supervision of the health care team.

  • To deal with various diagnostic tools like ventilators, defibrillators, tests, C-arm.

  • The course provides the knowledge on complete upkeep of surgical instruments before and after the operation.

Class Rooms:

Laboratories:

Well ventilated. Illuminated, spacious and comfortable laboratories as per specialization of Paramedical curriculum with all modern instruments, equipment, glassware as recommended by U.P. State Medical Faculty, Lucknow.



Computer Lab

Krishna Institute of Nusring Science and Research has computer lab for all students with free unlimited high speed broadband internet facility. The computer lab is equipped with sufficient computers connected via windows server 2008 standard, Printer and LAN.

Canteen

Krishna Institute of Nusring Science and Research Campus has hygienic, ventilated and well-furnished canteen to serve hygienic and healthy food and soft beverages for all.

Hostel & Other Facilities

Well-furnished separate hostel facility for boys and girls is available We understand that the most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so strive to make the transition as smooth as possible providing comfortable, Safe and homely set-up within the hostel. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light to guide the students and to monitor the day to day management of the hostels each hostel has dedicated warden (M/F).

In the College premises, we have medical first-aid services in case of an emergency.
